It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Russ Pawlas, Band Director at Brookville Middle School, Lynchburg, VA. Mr. Pawlas had served for decades as a music educator in Lynchburg City Schools, including a significant tenure at E.C. Glass High School before joining Brookville Middle School.
