The automotive and training world is in mourning following the death of Tim Kintz, President of Kintz Group, a veteran mentor, educator, and industry trailblazer. Tim Kintz, a long-time resident of Highland Village, Texas passed away recently, leaving a legacy marked by professional excellence, deep humanity, and a devotion to family.
Kintz’s career began as a trainer with Joe Verde Sales & Management Training, Inc., where he honed the philosophies of people-centered leadership and customer-first values that would become the hallmarks of his own firm. Later, he founded the Kintz Group, transforming it into a respected institution for automotive sales and management training. His educational journey from attending California Baptist University and Scottsdale Community College, to graduating from Francis Howell High School helped forge his discipline and passion for empowering others.
At the Kintz Group, his passing is being called “a tremendous loss not only to the business but to the countless individuals he inspired.” Above all, Tim was a devoted husband and proud father for his wife, Kristi, and their children, Maddyn and Cooper, he was more than a leader; he was their anchor.
As friends and colleagues express shock and grief, many are vowing to carry forward his legacy: continuing his mission of mentorship, his vision of honest service, and his belief in people-first leadership. In doing so, Tim Kintz’s spirit and impact will live on through the lives he touched, the careers he shaped and the example he set.
